Ludlow Chapital Research Rating System |
Ludlow Capital distributes research opinions to both high net worth individuals and institutional investors to help them make a clearer investment decision on a particular company. Through our research coverage and stock indexes, Ludlow Capital provides exclusive information on the US small cap equity market. Rating System We rate our coverage not with 'buy' or 'sell' recommendations, but rather in an A through F rating system. What constitutes a letter grade to any particular company is not its share price, but rather how strong we feel that company is doing at any one time, and how are they going about in executing on their overall business model. New contracts, institutional backing, additional acquisitions, and so on could determine a letter upgrade to any one company. Loss of a contract, lower revenue guidance, dilutive financing, and things of that nature could determine a letter downgrade. Coverage Updates In general we will update our research opinion on any one company at least once a quarter, usually after earnings announcement and 10Q or 10K filing. We may update our research opinions during any particular quarter due to pertinent news that may effect a companies valuation. Fair Research Opinions Although we may be compensated from smaller cap companies, strictly in 144 shares, we still aim to give our best and fairest opinions on the companies we follow. We don't try to over hype, or play down any story, but rather we give you our fairest opinion on the company and its prospects going forward. If anything we try to be conservative in our small cap coverage to take into account the many risks associated with small and micro cap issues. Ludlow Capital will be developing in the near future an independent committee to provide oversight on all our research data so as to provide the best and honest research coverage of the small cap equity markets. The committee will consist of certified CFA, and will be peer reviewed within NYU's Stern School of Business.
